TentED’s work has been featured in the Huffington Post. We recently partnered with an intrepid group of veterans, Adventure Not War to build two tents for displaced children as part of our Pop-up School project in the Yazidi village of Rikava, in Iraqi Kurdistan. Now, children in the remote village have a place to congregate, study and play in, out of the elements.
Led by Iraq War veteran, Stacy Bare, Adventure Not War promotes countries recovering from war through outdoor and community-service activities. TentED is proud to team up with this awesome initiative as we continue advancing the education of displaced children in Iraq.
